Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ghostwriting and publishing services operated by BookCage, a trading name of Carson Alworth located in Crosbyton, TX 79322. By accessing our site, purchasing a sprint, or submitting a project brief, you agree to these Terms.

Services

We provide ghostwriting sprints, editorial guidance, and publishing support. Engagement begins once payment is confirmed, required assets are received, and the sprint window is scheduled. Delivery timelines (including the 24-hour sprint) depend on timely participation from the client.

Payments and Renewals

• Sprint fees are charged in advance through Stripe and are non-recurring unless you book additional sprints.
• Fees are listed in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.
• If we miss the guaranteed delivery window, the sprint fee is refunded automatically.

Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate briefing details, usage rights to any reference assets, and timely feedback during the sprint.
• Use deliverables in accordance with publishing laws, platform rules, and any confidentiality obligations.
• Maintain the confidentiality of any shared logins, interview recordings, or private links.

Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you receive all rights to the manuscript and supporting materials. We reserve the ability to reference anonymized work descriptions unless you request otherwise in writing.

Prohibited Uses

You may not resell our creative system, misrepresent affiliation, or request materials that promote hate speech, illegal activity, or misinformation. We may terminate access if a request violates these standards.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BookCage and Carson Alworth are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding 30 days.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be handled in state or federal courts located nearest to Lubbock County, Texas.

Updates

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updates take effect when posted, and continued use of the site or services signifies acceptance of the revised Terms.
